Hi, I’m Brett

I've always believed there's something special about making useful things with your hands.

Long before electricity, people carved spoons, bowls, and everyday tools using little more than an axe, a knife, and fresh wood.

That tradition continues today.

Every spoon and bowl I create is made entirely by hand using traditional green woodworking techniques. I don't rely on power tools. Instead, I work with the natural shape of the wood, allowing the grain to guide each piece.

Teaching has become one of the most rewarding parts of this craft.

Watching someone arrive convinced they "aren't creative" and leave holding a spoon they carved themselves never gets old.

My workshops aren't about perfection.

They're about slowing down, learning timeless skills, and discovering what's possible when you work with your hands.

Whether you're joining your first class or developing advanced carving techniques, I'd love to help you begin your own carving journey.
